Your Ten Star may have been imported from Belgium or made by Crescent Firearms in Meriden, CT, for Folsom Arms of New York, c. 1890-1930. If you remove the barrels from the receiver and look at the bottom of the chamber there may be a Belgian proofmark. If there is a script "EL" or an oval with "ELG" and a star stamped on the gun it was made in Belgium. I don't know exactly what you mean by a "stock number" but most old shotguns are marked with various numbers and letters by the manufacturers and sometimes by the owners, so without some sort of documentation, there's no way to determine what your mark indicates.

I can say that the new england brand of shotguns were imported between 1987-2007.These were imported by H&R.
You must indicate shotgun or rifle and model.
All my records indicate that stevens did not make a model 337 shotgun. If your stevens shotgun is marked U337 under the receiver, this would be a serial number, not a model number.
It probably does not have one. Serial numbers were not required on shotguns manufactured or imported before 1969.
The letters NZ in the serial number indicate that your Miroku made Browning was made in the year 1991.
This was used in the serial number prefix with a number to indicate that you have a Browning auto-5 magnum shotgun.the number or numbers before the V indicate the year of manufacture,This was used by browning from 1958-1976.
The serial number that you provided indicates that you have a Ithaca Flues model double barrel shotgun that was made in the year 1925.I would have your shotgun appraised by someone who specializes in these shotguns because there are to many variables that would indicate a accurate price for your shotgun.
