Is lupus contagious?

Answer:
No. People develop lupus if they have a genetic predisposition to develop lupus and a trigger or triggers start the autoimmune reaction. All of the genes are not yet identified. Lupus is not contagious and you cannot pass it to someone like you can infectious diseases.
