Is magic real?

Some opinions

• Magic only exists and work for people who truly believe
  

• Yes. Although there is no recorded proof that magic is real, inside everyone's hearts we know it exist and that with enough belief we can maybe harness this mystical power. Magic is real and it is out there.
  

• They study the trick over and over to make the trick seem real. So all in all magic is definitely real.

• Magic is partly real, some people can use it, others can't. Families belonging to mages from the Middle Ages, may still have some left, but now magic is psychic. And everyone is psychic, even if they don't know it.
  

• Magic is real. Harry Houdini belonged to a long line of mages and that's how he escaped the chains. magic can be from seeing future in dreams to making whales appear from no where. So magic is psychic and psychics are real.
  

• Magic is a state of mind not something tangible. If you can think in terms of it, it exists to you. A state of mind is indeed programmable and your perspective can be anything.
  

• When you think of it the Idea of Magic is from the recipient's perspective, just think of all the ways magic makes you feel, awe, wonder, surprise or even shock. If you can initiate those feelings you are a magician. This is why they say you have to believe for it to be true. Why anyone deprives themselves of the amazement of magical feelings is kinda crazy. It's the same for god, santa, the tooth fairy etc... You can be a total skeptic, safe from ridicule, but also safe from feelings of revelation and a big picture and connectedness and maybe even love. How do you teach yourself this? By rituals of thanks mostly. Rituals of openness.

• Magic is quite real it is all around us. Some believe it is evil but it is not. It can be learned and mastered. Some don't want you to know this.

• Two statements sum up magic in the modern world quite well: 1) 90% of magic merely consists of knowing one extra fact, and 2) any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

• Magic is an illusory feat; considered magical by naive observers.

• Magic is everywhere around you, in every living organism, in every blossoming flower, with every newborn child, in every ray of sun-light.
