If a married couple works together in the same company does it mean their marriage is perfect and happy?
Answer There is no indication that husband and wife working together makes their marriage any more successful than if they each worked in separate companies. In… fact, it can be hard on the couple. They not only see each other every morning, but then again at work (no head space) and again in the evening. Too much of a good thing is good for nothing as far as I'm concerned. I sure wouldn't want to work in the same company as my husband. I do work for my husband off my computer for his crews, but that's as far as I want to take it. I enjoy the separation we have from each other because when we've had some head space we enjoy each other much better. Marcy Answer Not always. There is a such thing as spending too much time together and some couples enjoy that, others need their breaks.

Seems they can. Or at least think they can. I work for Contra Costa County and was just informed effective 4/1/2012 my husband and I can no longer have dual coverage. Since… an employee's total compensation package is comprised of health and dental coverage, how is this discrimination against the employee who is married to another benefited county employee justified?

There are not necessarily any statutes forbidding it, however, the employer may have company regulations that prohibit it, and that is their privilege. .
In some states and countries they do. In some places, they have the same rights, but their unions are not legally called "marriages."
