Is mars getting warmer?

Your guess is as good as mine, but I have been reading for years that Mars is getting warmer:

Greater variation in its polar caps has been observed. I also think that drawings of the ice caps from earlier centuries show them to be larger. This evidence is anecdotal at best, but the only information that I have read.
