Hi, I was troubled by the same question for a long time. The only reason this would be haram is because they use L-Carnitine. L-Carnitine can be from 2 sources: Animal (taken from lining of stomach) Or Synthetic (made from a combination of 3 chemicals) After emailing Monster Inc repeatedly, they have finally got back to me. The L-Carnitine they use is synthetic, which makes it Halal. Hope this helps. Wassalaam

Besides, anything not good for your health is discouraged to be consumed in Islam. Better be away from it.
