Yes, it is. Check to make sure with the manufacturer that the product hasn't come into contact with gluten-containing substances, but "bran" is just the outer coating of grains (such as rice, wheat etc.)

In general, brown mustard should be gluten free. However, you cannot be sure until you read the label on the brand you want to use.

No it is not. You can buy a gluten free brand of mustard though at most stores. But nearly every other condiment is naturally gluten free except some ketchup's with additives .
