Is nickel silver worth anything?

Nickels from the WWII Years did partially have silver in them. One is worth $1.75

there are some questions you need to ask herself before your question can be answered: when was it made how long have you had it and is it rusty. so there's not enough information for me to answer...

The only nickels that ever contained any silver were the so-called "war nickels" minted from 1942 to 1945. They're distinguishable by the large mint mark over the dome of Monticello on the back....

All buffalo nickels made from 1913 - 1938 were made of 75% copper and 25% nickel. There were never any buffalo nickels made of silver.
