The withdrawals from Paxil/Paroxetine are very harsh. I don't know if the use of Paxil itself is dangerous. But I do know that if you take it, at some point you will either want to stop it or you will come to what they call "Paxil Poopout". That is when you've built up a tolerance to the drug and will start having withdrawals.

I personally had this happen to me and the withdrawals are very severe and include: Severe anxiety, depression, intense dreams/nightmares, suicidal thoughts, nausea, insomnia, dizziness, irritability, anger, sweating, feeling off-balance and clumsy, shaky, twitches and jerks, brain zaps and flashes of light, tinitus. difficulty focusing thoughts, akathisia, dysphoria and more.
