If you have pain below your belly button and just above your groin, you could be either pregnant (pregnancy discomfort) or growing some cancer (testicular cancer for men).

A normal anteverted uterus does not cause a bulge below your belly button. The entire normal uterus is so small that it is tucked behind your pubic bone. If you have an abnormally large uterus, then it may cause a bulging lower abdomen. Ask your surgeon for advice specific to your situation.
According to my midwife, it is normal for your uterus to come up to about an inch or two below your belly button at this point in pregnancy. Around 20 weeks, it should reach, or almost reach, your belly button.
