Is prostitution a good career? |
[Edit] |
The dream for most people is to get paid for doing something you love. If you enjoy having sex and lots of it then why not get paid for doing it? However, if you are seriously thinkig about getting into this line of work consider the "then again" answer below. Work in a legal brothel where you can feel safe in the fact that not only do you have security around should the man get violent, but you also have the added security in regards to your health and STD's.
read and listen
no, get ahold of yourself and find a good job that will support you
then again
Here in Nevada where brothels are legal ( except in Clark County ) women earn a good living in the oldest profession. Health benefits and health guidelines protecting employees and patrons alike from exposure to STD's make it actually safer than the current dating scene where you dont know in most cases what exposure your partner has had. The women are screened monthly for STD's and other health problems like hepatitis and so forth. Aside from the negative stigma applied to prostitution if someone is inclined to pursue that avenue there is at least a way to do it that is legal and looks out for your well being. The opportunity for income is dependent on you and what your employer is going to charge you for overhead. I have never visited one of these places but the word is out ( check out "Cathouse", a series on either cinemax or HBO) and the worlds oldest profession is not quite as seedy as it used to be. I would definitely be destroyed if my daughter decided to pursue this avenue, but I cannot speak for everyone and how they feel about sex and their willingness to sell ( or rent ) their body for the pleasure of an anonymous other.
