I have the exact same problem, only its been a week and half since i got my IV injections. Apparently after you receive IV injections your vein may become swollen due to the fluid medication irritating the walls of the vein or because your vein is just naturally really thin. Its called Phlebitis if I'm not mistaken. Anyway. I've read a lot about it and apparently It's not dangerous but takes a long time to go away. (some people say 3-8 weeks) Placing heat on it or even something cold helps the inflammation.
It shouldn't be serious, and yes you will feel some pain around the area. However, if you experience fever, severe pain, your arm get very swollen or any other out of the ordinary symptoms the vein may be infected and you must see you doctor Immediately!!
Hope this helps, best of luck on it...hopefully mine gets better soon.
I'm not sure 11 days after or something
The time in which it takes to rid swollen glands can depend upon the bacteria that caused the sickness. A virus will most likely go away on it's own, within a week to 10 days. If it is a bacterial infection, antibiotics may be necessary in order to clear the infection completely.
It could be a swollen lymph node. A doctor should be able to identify whatever it is.
you can lose your hand if you steal something in the olden days. for example if a serf in the olden days stole a sheep or something and they get caught then the people would cut off his/her hand and if they stole again they would cut off the other hand
You could have an infection. They may have "nicked" the wall of the colon. Didn't the doctor give you post op info about this? A high fever of 102 or above should be a concern and you should call.
its because its probably swollen or you must have pulled something very common especially with kids these days
heat of hydration should not be more than66 cal/g and 75cal/g for 7&28 days respectively
YES!!!
yes.
anywhere from 7-10 days.
yes it's just swollen for a couple days after you get it.
It depends on why your throat is swollen. You may have an infection and need treatment, if you throat is swollen for more than two days I'd recommend a doctor visit. Other than that, a swollen throat from a little cough has gone away with cough drops and hot tea in my experience.
I only have this to say, GET THAT THING CHECKED OUT!
Because she has just undergone major surgery and anybody would be a bit swollen. If it lasts more than a couple days you should ask a vet.
My ankle just stopped swelling 2 days ago witch was 2 months after I sprained it! so it may be swollen for a while
That can happen depending on which piercing it is. Besure to keep on top of the aftercare and it will settle down in a few days.
That is something you will mostly likely have to wait out. Ice is always an easy remedy to any injury. You can also take up to 800mg of ibuprofen to help with the pain, however, the pain should subside in a few days.
