its going to be some were on the tranny a small metal rode is going to be connected to the park/shift solenoid and that metal rode runs throw and connects to your shift handle inside the car/truck

It's attached to the throttle body. You can easily access by dropping the transmission pan. I believe you have 5 solenoids in there.

it is inside the transmission you can't fix that in your driveway take it to tranny shop
