yes
This refers to the term Professional Audio which encompasses a large variety of things outside of the home audio industry, mostly pertaining to the field that is live sound for events, worship center, commercial auditoriums, theaters, and the like. This can include equipment, such as speakers and microphones you would at a live concert, or it can refer to people such as sound engineers that run the equipment you might see at an event or concert.
Pretty much all camcorders have the resolution of the audio as limiter if nothing else. If the volume gets so loud (like on a concert) that the audiolevel hits the limiter, it can be easily heard as nasty sounding distortion
Yes, you can replace your mixing console with a laptop. You will need an audio interface to plug the mics into and audio software. Also, you has to have a powerful laptop or else it lags and the sound is delayed.
For you to be able to watch a concert without being there, several things need to happen. One is that someone (a TV station, a streaming audio service, YouTube) needs to agree to broadcast the concert. This means contracts need to be signed giving the station or network or streaming audio service permission to air the concert; performance rights need to be agreed to (the performers want to get paid, and so does the road crew who will set up everything needed for the concert); engineering and transmission matters need to be worked out, so that the audio and video will come through clearly. Because doing all these things can be both expensive and complicated, not every concert is broadcast or streamed live. Further, while you may love a certain band and the concert sells out, networks may believe that band only has a cult following and it won't be cost-effective to air the concert live, since not enough people will want to see it. As a result, record companies or networks will often tape the concert and then make it available later (or make portions of it available), which is easier and less complex, and not as dependent on getting big ratings.
No he isn't he isn't he's still working with his brothers trying to make Audio work
The taking of video, stills or audio at any live concert, musical, stage show is prohibited under copyright
No, but.... Ironically David Morrissey the actor, is going to narrate the audio book for Neil Morrissey the singer.
I think the fist album to be recorded, mixed and produced in all digital (DDD) was "brothers in arms" by Dire Straits.
