It all depends on beliefs because if you are asking if The Bible is true word of God means that you are not sure if it is true or false so if you believe yes if not no because there is no prove about the Bible or any other religious Bible or similar to be true.

A: Yes. Everything takes faith but history has pointed to the Bible throughout the years. Believe it , trust it, and watch it transform your life.

A: Yes, the Bible is God's Word.

The Words of Scripture are "given by inspiration" (2 Timothy 3:16) or literally, they are "God-breathed." It is the Holy Spirit that moved men to write down the words. In 2 Peter 1:20,21, it says: "No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." Literally, the Geek word for "moved" means "to bear along" or "to carry along," like the wind carrying a ship along, as it fills the sails and pushes it.

So, not only did the Holy Spirit of God give the words of Scripture, His interpretation also is needed to know what it means. He is the true author of Scripture, so He has to be the One to show the meaning, as it was intended by Him. This is where many go wrong with their own interpretation or mixing in their own understanding, which most often is not God's ways. A:

Christians believe the bible, in various editions, is the word of God. Not all sects use the same bible.

Many people believe that it does contain the words of God. Not that God himself wrote it, but that it was written by men and inspired by God.

Another thought:

As originally inspired through those who wrote the Bible, yes.

Yet, although it may have suffered a bit at the hands of some less-than-inspired translators into all the various imperfect languages of men... God is still able to reveal His Truth to those whom He is calling through those works.

His Word clearly reveals that He doesn't want most men to understand His Truth, yet, when Jesus spoke to the multitudes in "meaning-hiding" parables.

Plus, the books of God's Word were preserved in such a way as to require "diligent study" on the part of those who would know God's Truth... while the majority of mankind remains confused and skeptical toward it... and unable to understand it. Especially, since the vast majority of mankind has never read the Bible.

But even for those few who have... it still takes a certain "attitude" on the part of the reader; humility, trust, faith and belief in God's Word... in order for God's Truth to reach the heart and mind of the individual. Without the right attitude [given by God to whom He will]... most people come away "empty."

"...for with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people... yet they would not hear. But the Word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken." (Isa.28:11-13)

God's Word is understood and recognized by everyone God is calling. Speaking of the end time, and the advent of the soon-coming Great Tribulation upon our generation, today, Daniel was informed:

"...the Words [the inspired prophetic Words of God which he had been given] are closed up and sealed till the time of the end... NONE of the WICKED WILL UNDERSTAND; but the WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND." (Dan.12:9-10)

The Bible reveals to God's servants, that God's Wisdomand Understanding belongs to those who 'FEAR HIM' [Prov.9:10]... not to those who don't.

The Truth of the Bible sits comfortably and literally in the hearts and minds of the few whom God is calling out of the world. As for the vast majority of mankind -- not so much... or not at all.

The Bible can not possibly be God's words or even divinely inspired. There are simply too many historical errors and contradictions.

Speaking of contradictions in the gospel accounts, Raymond E. Brown (An Introduction to the New Testament) says that God should have inspired the two evangelists to give us the same record.
