Yes Combats are good bats. I have a friend who has the B1 and the ball flies off of it. The Virus is also a good bat. You should get it.

I use the Logitech Attack 3. You can get it online for less than $20. The only problem I have with it is that it does not rotate, so you will need to use the num pad for rudders.

Keep your eye on the ball from the time it leaves the pitchers hand to when it makes contact with the bat.
