It sure looks like it. a number of smaller-known Rock bands imitated the Nazi outfit also. there was some folks recall- Waffen-SS Vedelli. the band leader was the son of- get this- the owner of Germanic Automotive- an auto dealer specializing in German marques. those were the days. KISS was, is and is in no way associated with any ideals, whether symbolic or literal, of the Waffen SS. In fact, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are both of Jewish ancestry!!

Yes, the "ss" from the German Forces are relating to the same 'SS" IN THE BAND NAME KISS. Since Simmons family was one of the only fmailies to survive the holocost, he put the 'ss" sign in the Band name just to basically say " Germans can kiss my @$$
