its safe to eat yes. its just paper. but it doesn't dissolve...it just mixes in. the gums alot harder if u chew it with the paper than without. its fun to pop it into ur mouth with the wrapper and watch peoples reactions. go for it. it does NOT harm you in any way. Ur just eating paper. whatever floats ur boat:P

First of all, if stride gum wrappers were edible, the company that owns them would advertise it. Second, if you google it, a website called candyaddicts, or something like that, has a direct response from the company that owns stride clearly stating the wrappers are no intended to be eaten but are not toxic
