Answer:
Well, sort of. What I mean by that is, the antipathy worked for me, and I received £45 in total, and I found the money, as stated in the original notepad document, in a gap in the flooring in a place in which I go to in the morning, and I did receive the so-called "sacrifices" to my locker- petroleum jelly on the handle and lock and a few other things. But, It is very unlikely that Satan takes your soul for a week and if you die during the antipathy week your soul is lost forever. It is most likely to be a set-up from where you found it. Then again, it is a bit of a coincidence that they know exactly when to put the £5 note down, and that it will be found by you at lunch and whatever. So, in a nutshell, it works for some and doesn't for others
For those who don't know- What is the antipathy?
The antipathy is a document originally created on notepad, stating the day after it is received (mostly by email, forwarded, slightly like a chain mail) you/somebody you know will find a £5 note, in a gap in the flooring at a place which you go to in the morning, and apparently will be found at lunch. This lasts for a week, sometimes you find even more money on some days of that week. But, there are so-called "sacrifices" you have to make, which basically means a bad thing will happen each day of your antipathy week. It is also believed that the antipathy was created by Satan, and in return for the money, as well as the "sacrifices", Satan takes your soul for a week, and if you die in that week then he has your soul forever. That is why the "sacrifices" happen, in the hopes that it makes you a bit more likely to die in some way or another. He makes the money appear, as Satan isn't stupid and knows that pretty much all people will do anything for money.
Why is it called the antipathy?
Nobody really knows why it is called the antipathy- the word antipathy (an-ti-path-y) actually is the opposite of sympathy, and seems completely irrelevant. It is called the antipathy because it isn't really Satan trying to be "sympathetic" for people and giving them money as a gift so they can be happy, but it is only in return for their soul for a week. Satan can only take people's souls if he gives something to them, so he gives money and in return gets the soul of the person- but only for a week. So basically, it is called the antipathy as Satan is being completely antipathic (opposite of sympathetic) to the people and it is not really what it seems (the antipathy is also known as the Ironic Grudge or Ironic Antipathy or Satanic Grudge) and the people think it is a kind gesture as they think Satan feels sorry for them, when it's actually the complete opposite- just an excuse to take their souls.
