No they aren't.

A bladder is where urine is stored. A gall bladder helps with processing fats.

Gall bladders can develop gallstones, which are deposits - and are extremely painful. A gallbladder attack describes the pain the deposits can incur.

A gallbladder can be removed without any real adverse lifestyle changes; however, a bladder cannot.

The urinary bladder holds the urine that is pulled from the blood by the kidneys, while the gallbladder holds bile from the liver and releases it into the digestive system to aid in digesting.

No, the gall badder is part of the digestive system. It stores bile and it is near the liver. The prostate is a doughnut shaped gland that is part of the reproductive system.

== == That depends on the *reason* for the rectostomy, (or proctostomy, which is the same thing.) If there is cancer involved in the prostate, then yes, it will be removed. If the prostate is unaffected by the current disease process that is causing the need for the proctostomy then most likely it will be left intact.
