Answer Not to be flippant, but if they are secret societies, it would be a secret, wouldn't they? Skull and Bones is the most famous of "secret societies" as is the Masons. The Masons make no secret of their membership, with their car tags, and marching in parades, etc. Bush, John Kerry, to name …a few, were members of Skull and Bones at Yale. Arnald Schwarzenegger has been rumored to visit the Bohemian Grove. According to various sources, that's where he was tapped on the shoulder by Karl Rove to run for Governor in the Californian Recall election... and the rest is history. (MORE)
The Masons, also Cain formed in ancient times a secret society between him and Satan and he and his succesors were called Master Mahan tell the flood. All high in power secret societies are controlled by satan.
There is no specific reference to secret societies. However, most if not all secret societies require incoming members to take oaths. In the Bible, James states that Christians must not swear by an oath: "But above all things, my brethren, swear not â¦but let your yes be your yes; and your no, …no; lest you fall into condemnation ." James. 5:12. Christ also said, in Matthew 5:34-37, "I say to you, do not swear at all : neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." Endtime Biblical prophecy, however, considers secret societies as a tool to form a New World Order under the control of the "Beast" referred to in Revelation. Sure the term "secret society" is not used but there are several references to avoid groups who meet in secret. There are also mosaic laws condemning idolatry and symbols used in rituals...as well as to not take oaths and then there's this verse.... Ephesians 5:12 "For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret." (MORE)
Nouveau tect secret society is a non-religion base group that provides you with the tools to improve/develop your life in all aspect: money, romance, love, power, friends, family, ect... they teach you how to see the world on how it really is and the reality of things. Do not be confused and think t…his is related to "the secret." If you think you are gone to get something for nothing, well, it won't be found in the Nouveau Literature. ** The above is how the people selling "Nouveau tech" literature want you to view it so that you will buy it. It is a scam. They send spam mail to private people after getting your address off of mailing lists that have been sold by skeezy businesses. They got my name from Kevin Trudeau's company ( I know this because of subsequent research that i did to discover how they got my name and address) because many years ago I was stupid enough to buy one of his books. A few months later I got a letter from Nouveau Tech trying to tell me that they were sending me the letter because I had some qualities that meant that I was worthy of being in the elite. That they had had their eye on me for quite some time and that they felt I was ready, that it was "time" for me to take the next step in my mental evolution, that incredibly famous and powerful people knew about me and were just waiting for me to join their ranks. They tell you that all you have to do is to send a form back to them saying "yes" that you want to join in this society of the elite, and its ALL FREE! Out of curiosity I sent it to them. Then they sent me a little pamplet of personal accounts of how Nouveau tect changed their lives! In no great detail of course, The letter was accompanied by an order form so that you could order the book with all the Nouveau tech secrets. It costs something like 200 dollars as i recall. It's a scam. It was obvious, so obviously I did NOT order the book. I've since researched what it is and have found that it is, indeed pseudo-psychological and meta physical nonsense that is different from, but on the same level as things like "the secret" "Scientology" and any of those other ridiculous cons. Don't be scammed! Also, I had an answer to this before and the above poster deleted mine to wright that raving review. I will monitor this answer to make sure that if you delete it I will re-post. I will leave yours so that your "perspective" will not be censored and if you truly are an honest person who feels that what you say is true then you will leave this alternate point of view here as well. You are welcome to edit your response as you see fit, but should you decide to do so, please leave the following un edited so that others can know exactly what I am responding to. Your original answer: "Nouveau tect secret society is a non-religion base group that provides you with the tools to improve/develop your life in all aspect: money, romance, love, power, friends, family, ect... they teach you how to see the world on how it really is and the reality of things. It depends on the definition of secret society. There are all kinds of organizations that are regarded and/or regard themselves as 'secret societies'. Often it's just adolescent bravado; sometimes it's criminal.

You cant just randomly sign up or contact a society and be accepted, well id guess that's rather obvious. The only possible way to be accepted into a secret society is to have a skill that is rare which could come to use, you must also have a wealth of knowledge and proof that you can hold secrets. …Be aware if you are ever invited into a society don't take this for granted as i guarantee its a test, it will be a decoy then if you pass theyre, not mentioned, circumstances you will be given a full explanation of the society. One last thing to be noted, a society will contact you, it is "impossible" to contact them. GOOD LUCK! and remember you must be unique, so don't get your hopes up. (MORE)

It's a secret. Usually you must be sponsored by someone who is already a member.
Probably by referral, if the organization wants to remain secret. Added: In the case of organisations like the Masons, you can apply online and they operate more like private member's clubs.
I've done quite a bit of research on secret societies and the answers are different for each member. If you're joining the masons you might do it for business benefit or to help charities or for the social side of meeting other men with similar interests. If you're joining the mafia I'm guessing you…'re probably a criminal and want to extort or kill people! If you're joining the secret order of libertines it's about wild parties, royalty-behaving-badly and corruptly influencing political agendas run by your fellow party-goers. If you're in the Illuminati (if they exist) then it's supposed to be about running the world like a business and giving secret signs on television to influence presidents and kings. Who knows the real truth but I think that the biggest overall reason is power. Men are obsessed with power and all these groups seems to give the unfair advantages in different parts of society. The U.S. Secret Service hiring requirements are listed on USAJOBS. Generally one needs a bachelors degree. Experience in security work is generally not required as well as police experience. All secret societies are formed for one reason, to keep the uninitiated from knowing exactly what they do. There's nothing especially sinister about that.
There is a secret society inside the fountain in the Town Square. You get the code from the creepy girl in the Mill.
It is not a secret, underground society in most cases, as Communists are normally rash and bold and quickly coupGovernments to obtain the power they desire. For example: China.. However, in the United States, it is looked down upon to be part of the Communist Party. In fact, there isn't a registere…d political party that is communist. There are Socialists. This is somewhat of an underground, or secret as you put it, society. Most people who share these beliefs of Socialism will not admit to being part of it. (MORE)
In most cases, you can only become a member of a secret society if another member inducts you into it. Secret societies (and other exclusive organizations, like private clubs, the mafia, and the John Birch Society) have no interest in attracting applicants; their members choose people they *want* to… join, and then the society spends a good deal time examining and discussing the the prospect before the prospect is even aware that he is being considered for membership. There are a exceptions, such as legacies (I'm certain that many of the members of Skull and Bones, for instance, knew that they would be considered because their fathers were members), but as a rule you're out of luck unless someone on the inside wants you in. The secret society is a hidden (actually invisible) lot in the University. If your sim befriends three members (they can meet these on community lots, and locate them by the nice blazers they all wear while NOT in a dorm), then the secret society will come in the night (be sure the dorm door is not …locked!) and whick them away. The secret lot has some great items, like reward objects usually ONLY obtained through a career, that your sim can then use to increase skills faster. So, it can be a real benefit. (MORE)
Yes. Depends on how you define "secret society". In free countries, membership in Freemasonry is not a secret, but is openly acknowledged by the wearing of Masonic emblems, etc. Much of the Masonic ritual is reserved to members of the Masonic orders. However, in some countries ruled by totali…tarian regimes and repressive dictatorships, membership in Freemasonry, and other personal freedoms, are outlawed. As a result, Freemasonry in those countries is very much a secret society, and it's membership, meeting times and places, and even the existence of the organization is secret. (MORE)

Is there a government? Yes. Are there societies that have secrets. Yes. Are there secret societies. No. If we know about them they are not secret. Are there people in the government that belong to certain fraternal societies. Of course.
It requires a one word answer NO!. Anyone may join a Lions Club. Our meetings are open to visitors. There are no strange rituals, no dressing up in costumes, & no coded greetings. It beggars belief when I read some of the nonsense about red clothing & religious readings. Yes we dress for formal occ…asions but that is the lounge suit or dinner suit (tux). Lions are from many religious beliefs, and have there own often opposing political views that ave no place in a Lions Club meeting, in fact such discussions are barred under our rules. There is only one time when things become 'secret' that is when we are discussing the personal details of a member of the public that has asked for help. We would disclose that name or personal information, but that is normal confidentiality, as any one would expect. Find your local club go along find out for yourself. (MORE)

Consider for a moment that the governments of the world have been in the business of governance for a very long time, and while people (like sheep) can be steered in a direction for a short time, it is difficult at best to get any sized group to a chosen destination. The supposition that a secret so…ciety of human herders are driving the events of the world toward some malevolent ultimate end is ludicrous at best. Besides, no credible evidence that any rational person would accept exists to prove the existence of the Illuminati as depicted in popular fiction like that of Dan Brown and the other conspiracy mongers. Those who choose to surrender their ability to guide their own lives and sublimate their choices to some phantom boogeyman will eventually find themselves in a hole of their own construction. Unfortunately, they will never accept that they dug the hole themselves, no matter the mountain of evidence that is dumped over them. (MORE)

No, he does not. in fact, he depends on the Secret Service to keep him safe, and he has confidence in them. (All presidents, and the presidential nominees of the opposing party, rely on the Secret Service for protection; thus, it has a very important function.) Undoubtedly, there are times when poli…ticians and their families wish they did not have the Secret Service following everywhere they go, but they do understand the need for security, and they understand why the Secret Service needs to be close by. What President Obama was upset about was a report in early 2012 about a scandal in Columbia, when some off-duty secret service agents were drinking and possibly using prostitutes. This upset a number of people (including the head of the Secret Service). But the president has not lost confidence in the entire agency because of a few people's unprofessional actions. (MORE)
