From what I've heard, the Battle of Charleston, SC went from April 1-May12, 1780.
some important person...just kidding the British won
they had a better leader at the time and had more and advanced military weapons.
British soldiers began to attack the southern colonies from 1777 through 1779 and the Battle of Charlston finally ended in 1780 with the British Lord Cornwallis prevailing. Hope that helped :)
