The tissue below the dermis is the hypodermis, or superficial fascia. The subcutaneous tissue
Anything that does not include the epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous layer or even basement layer is not a part of the skin layer. Also the lining of epithelial cells on the uterine.. or even gastrointestinal tract is considered part of the integumentary system.. (not skin).
The dermis, the epidermis and the subcutaneous.
The dermis is a layer of skin between the epidermis and subcutaneous tissues, and is composed of two layers, the papillary and reticular dermis.
Subcutaneous administration involves injecting the solution into the subcutaneous tissue beneath the layers of skin (i.e. the space between the dermis and the muscle).
The epidermis.
It's the skin right under the dermis. It contains fat and blood vessels that supply blood to the dermis. This is why you get a scar if your rip your skin all the way through the subcutaneous layer. It's because there are no blood vessel to feed the dermis.
