Even the faithers will agree with me there, as they are frequently fond of quoting the 2nd law of thermodynamics, which states that everything must ultimately decay.
In other words, you start to die as soon as you are born!
The wasteful Sun [and all the other billions of wasteful stars] pump out killer radiations, as well as creating the building blocks of life & the Universe itself. A twisted, cruel irony.
This is comparable to asking "Is the sea kind or cruel?"
It provides food for fish etc. but kills on a whim.
