Saline systems being sold today operate on a pool water salinity of only 3000ppm or so. Older systems used higher salinities - 4000-6000ppm. Considering ones tears are only approx 9000ppm, you can see that the pool water salinity is very mild. In 30+ years dealing with salt systems for pools, I have not come across any plants, or grass types, which were adversely effected by the salt water from the pool. No doubt there are some very delicate plants which might suffer from the salt, but these are not the normal plants you'd find around a pool. I have a large salt water pool all my landscaping was put in a year ago and has grown faster then I want it too. It is all lush and green. Also my two dogs drink it all day every day with no problems.
Flowers or plants can not live in chlorine treated water. This is because the chlorine chemicals shutdown the organelles of the plants cells.
Chlorine does affect the growth of many plants. When you water the plant with it it will soak in quickly and probably die the next day. So I would recommend not using chlorine to water your plants
Not really.
yes some plants have high concentrations of chlorine, like fungi and rose bushes
Chlorine affects plants very much. If you don't add any water to it it will die very fast. Also when you add chlorine to plants, don't spill it on anything, because it stains. It also affects because chlorine is found in all water and if you don't have chlorine then u have no water which means plant dies
A Chlorine Analyzer analyzes free chlorine or total chlorine in water to monitor chlorine dosage. It is frequently used in water and waste water plants to control chlorine dosage.

tap water is not that good because of chlorine. So low mineral water in bottles is better for them the chlorine might not be that good for plants, but plants do need the minerals in tap water.
