I'm sorry, but there is as yet no known cure for spinocerebellar ataxia.
Addition:
There is no cure for the hereditary ataxias. If the ataxia is caused by another condition, that underlying condition is treated first. For example, ataxia caused by a metabolic disorder may be treated with medications and a controlled diet. Vitamin deficiency is treated with vitamin therapy. A variety of drugs may be used to treat gait and swallowing disorders. Physical therapy can strengthen muscles, while special devices or appliances can assist in walking and other activities of daily life.
Spinocerebellar Degeneration is actually a progressing disease and it will get worse with time. There isn't a specific time where it gets worse according to all the research I've done. Sorry, if this doesn't really answer your question but I hope it helped!

You will have to learn to live with it as there is no cure. there are treatments however that slow or stop the disease from doing more damage.
Terminal illnesses generally mean that disease is not curable and the patient has 6 months or less to live. No terminal illnesses are curable. The best case scenario is that the disease is slowed and the patient has lives more than 6 months.

It is unknown how long you can live with this disease.
can beavers live having a disease
There is actually no treatment for the condition of the disease once the symptoms start to appear on the patient's body. The patient will continue to experience mental and physical disablilties for life which makes it even more worse. The various types of medicines which are used will be adminstered but will not reverse the effects of the disease and the degeneration of the nerve cells. Drugs such as Tetrabenazine (Xenazine), tranquillizers like (clonazepam) and anti-psychotic drugs are used to treat the symptoms of the disease. Hope this helps.
That pretty much depends on the severity of the disease and how it is treated. There are a number of treatments available that can help patients live a long, productive life.
With modern medical care, people live happy, very active lives with osteoarthritis. The disease is, in itself, not life threatening, but if not treated, leaves the patient with constant pain in their joints. But it can be treated easily today.
