No. If you look at the professional literature, "hcl" does not appear in the brand name "Wellbutrim XL" so it is apparently just part of the generic designation.
Bupropion is a pill that can apparently make you feel better and can help you to stop smoking. I don't know if it's true, or if the uses are phycological.
