Quite possibly, since the increase of communications and data collection has improved, the time frames have been condensed and the numbers of units and people have been compressed, information of this type is available in a datatbase somewhere. It simply hasn't been put together and made available to the public at this time.
Are you kidding me? We have to protect the privacy of those that have served valiantly. Some of us don't want to relive those moments over and over. Some of us just want to live quietly without people around us looking at us differently. It is our right as true Americans to have our privacy protected. Besides it is pretty funny when someone wearing all their tiny medals comes up demanding respect when they don't even know who they are talking to.
Try the American War Library, it appears they advertise such services. Normally however, there's usually NO listings for such a low medal. Higher ranking awards such as the MOH (Medal of Honor), and the Silver Star "might" have a listing. Be advised; at least during the Viet War, the "Bronze Star" was issued for BOTH Meritorious Achievement as well as for heroism. If the BS was awarded for heroism, written orders stated that the BS came with a "V" device; "V" standing for Valor. If it came with no such written orders, it was usually just for Meritorious Achievement. Be further advised: DS lasted only about 45 days. There were less than 200 US fatalities; those figures will diminish the numbers of military awards that were issued.
No, there is no by name list maintained. So far (10 September 2008) there have been 66,400 Bronze Stars for service/achievement and 1,900 Bronze Stars for valor awarded for OIF by the Army.
According to http://patriotfiles.org/HOH_SS_OIF.htm , there have been 31 Silver Star recipients in the Iraq War.
No such list exists.

Operation Iraqi Freedom means a Military Operation aiming to give freedom to Iraq. However as lot's of people argued before ,being 15k kms away from Iraq and worrying that much for its people's freedom is not American style. In real life operation Iraqi freedom mean: "we want your Crude oil and manage Marketing of the Petroleum Products which we are going to get it, even if it is going to make our thousands Soldiers kill there. and while doing it we will replace the meaning of murder and theft into freedom.
It began in March 2003 and is still going.
They're two different things. Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) is obviously the war in Iraq. Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) is the war in Afghanistan.
