Hello, hope I can be of good help!
First of all, civilian crashes. I have the 'Airlife Register of Aircraft Accidents' which is essentially a log of major incidents, however this is from around the world so probably wouldn't satisfy you. For the most recent crashes, visit the website of the Air Accident Investigation Branch which features detailed reports on the major UK incidents.
Military crashes - I would recommend the 'Air Crashes In...' series, which gives you more information on what happened to that aeroplane. e.g.
Date 21 December 1942

Aircrew -
The pilot of this aircraft received a commendation for his skill in landing this aircraft which was badly damaged. The accident occurred when the aircraft became emmeshed with the steel cable of a target towing aircraft which had flown across the Battle's path.
As far as I know, there is not a full compilation on all aircraft crashes in the UK. Hope I've helped, Private Detective Plane
