MARSOC or MSOC either way Marine Special Operations Command.
No, they are more akin to the elite Brigade Reconaissance Force of the Royal Marines 30 Commando IX group.
the marines because if u play cod4 the marines are skilled butt in mw2 the army is not well skilled
The british forces :P
To all please understand this applies to only basic enlistment. Special Forces is a whole nother story The Marines are a combat unit and nothing can be more difficult to experience then the type of combat they face, they are considered the elite warriors, every single last one of them, but for some that is not difficult to be at all and is a way of life. For some sustaining war space like the Army and US air force do and the circumstances that come with being a occupational force as well as a combat force that make them more difficult. Consistency can be more difficult then vigilant assaults and visa versa. Marine Core training by far is more difficult and longer(BASIC TRAINING) but all branches of the military will send you on the longest journey you can't even imagine... Be more specific with the question.. Marines often experience with there own eyes more of the tragedy in comparison of those in the other branches...
More soldiers have died from his own hand than from combat. 17.3 suicides per 100,000 people annually in 2006. Marines reported 24 suicides in 2006, down from 26 in 2005 and 34 in 2004, for a rate of 12.4 Marines per 100,000 in 2006. I don't know the exact percentage of suicide death tolls but it is a fact that more soldiers/marines have died from their own hands than from combat.
Yes, I believe they do. They use systema airsoft guns, which are the best you can get. The marines used to train with paintball guns several years ago, but they switched to airsoft because airsoft is more realistic.
This depends on where you are. If you are in the US Marines, first an infantry soldier would become a scout sniper and then would go on to a more advanced course.
Marine Force Recon is a branch of MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command) and their job is to locate HVT's (High Value Targets) and other threats for the main infantry. There is no question about it, they are the most elite fighters in the United States. Many say that Navy SEALs are more elite, but there are over 3,000 SEALs in the world, and only about 300 Force Recon Marines in the world.
The elite group of guardsmen were better trained and more capable than the run of the mill soldier.
I'm a Marine, so, Marines.
A MARINE... you are comparing apples and oranges, marines (regular marines) have 15 hours of just hand to hand combat however MARSOC marine spec ops is the equivalent of navy seals but still have more hand to hand then a SEAL in their training.
well it depends on if you want to be worked harder..if you join the Marines they have a very tough boot camp that will stretch you to your limits..the Army does still have a hard boot camp but they are not a rigorous as the Marines
