Is there a pill that can make you miss your period for a week or so while you are on your honeymoon?

Answer:

Answer

Not that I'm aware of, but if you talk to your doctor, they may be able to help you. But if you are on the pill you can skip the last week of the pack and yo will miss your period. Don't do this a lot, but I think your honeymoon is a good reason. =)

My fiance and I abstained from sex before we were married and wouldn't you know it, I started my period 2 days before my wedding!! I called my OB/GYN and he gave me a birth control sample pack and had me take 3 each day for 2 days, then 2 each day for 2 days, then 1, etc. It stopped my period :) He thought that the honeymoon was a pretty good reason to help us out! Good luck to you!

Answer

Yes. Instead of starting the sugar pills start a new pack of pills. This will cause you to miss your period that month. This is just like taking the new pill Seasonale

Answer

Yes, start the new pack of pills instead of your sugar pills. You are completely able to do this routine as long as you choose not to have your period. It is purely a personal decision as to whether you want to have your period or not each month. Medically, I believe you will incur no problems. Remember, the pill sends your body the message that you are "pregnant", therefore, as long as you continue to take the hormones, your body will continue to believe it need not to have a period. As soon as you choose to have your period again, simply stop taking the pills. Have fun on your honeymoon!

I went camping and the doctor perscribed me norethisterone which can delay it as long as you take it a few days before its due.
