yes there is a tool to screw the rear brakes back in any auto parts store should sell it although this tool is expensive one can use a set pliers the appropriate size to fit around the piston and turn the piston clock wise while pushing Buy the tool- yeah its $40-50 for the right one -Astro Pnuematics 11pc kit available on e-bay or thru Harbor Freight.Or for $7-15 KD 3063-(not KD3163) is the cube tool that fits- dont be fooled into buying 3163 you will just have to return it or weld and machine your own tabs to the side that has none. VWs look like a shark fin with the big side outboard. The AP kit works fine or you can run down VW special tool 3273. I was not able to find this under $90- used! You can rent the tool at an Auto Zone for $37.00 for a 24 hr period. It works great and much faster than a pair of needle nose pliers. The best part is you get your money back when you return the tool. But save your receipt!

How do you retract brake cylinders on the rear of ed falcon?

Use C clamps is one of the ways and is the most common if you have 2 cylinders do one at the time. You can pop open brake fluid resivor to let air out if they are very compressed. You can also use special tools napa provide i just did mine on f550 truck duel cylinders and i used dual cylinder compressor tool. But if you dont want to go through all the trouble just use C clamps they are easy to use and cheap to get. If you cylinders dont collaps they could be siezed one of my rear ones were siezed up.
