Unfortunately, just like our physicians it's tough to find out about a certain vet. If you have any doubts in your mind please change your vet.

You can usually tell if the vet is a good one by:

They have ER service around the clock

You can tell by the way they touch or speak to your pet if they really do like animals. Not all vets are animal lovers and it's the money that attracts many, but there are some very good vets out there.

Your pet also gives off signals as to whether they have had a decent experience with your vet (it won't all be nice sometimes) so just like children, look, listen to your pet and act.

If in doubt about your vet just ask a friend or family member where they take their pets. Usually a good vet gains their reputation by word of mouth.
