Is there a way to search all ebay sites for different countries at once?

The basic search portal on most eBay pages only searches the local eBay site. The "search results for xxxx" page enables that local search to be expanded worldwide by selecting "worldwide" from the drop-down box at Location, under Search Options.

However, the default setting for a world-wide search will only identify items that the sellers list as available to your location. If a seller in another country has not listed an item as available to your location, it will not appear appear in this search.

Identifying items not available to your location may be desired for a number of reasons:

• getting a broader idea of pricing around the world.
• directly negotiating with a seller to be permitted to bid or buy an item.
• using an Auction Deputy Service in another country. (These services bid on an international customer's behalf, receive the goods in the native country, then forward-ship it to the customer. Such services enable customers to buy from sellers who are unwilling to ship internationally.)

To perform a global eBay search of all items including one not listed as available to your location, go to the Advanced Search page of your eBay site. Enter the general search keywords and other requirements. At Location, select "Items available to", then from the drop-down box select "All Countries/Regions". This will enable you to see items matching your search at all ebay sites.

To identify relevant items more successfully, the search should include different language terms for the item sought. For example, the search:

This will locate listings containing "blue" in english, french and spanish. eBay does not translate search keywords so the user must enter these different terms manually.
