You should check with the college administration, and also with local service clubs (Elks, Kiwanis, etc) that might have bursuries available. Also, check with large corporations such as Toyota and Google to see if they have career specific burseries.
In Canada, and probably other countries, student loans are available from the federal government. Often this money is in the form of a bursery (not repayable) for those in need.
Be inventive in this endeavor, and expect closed doors...the ignorant will always be with us. If the going seems a bit tough at times, it is for all students.
