Is there any other medicine to use instead of Prednisone because of the side effects it has? |

It really depends why it has been prescribed for you! Are you suffering with any side effects? Usually steroids are prescribed because they are the only drug that will improve or treat a condition . Stopping prednisolone suddenly is a bad idea. It should be done gradually with medical supervision. Are you on a long term course of it for life or is it a temporary treatment?

Look in the phonebook or other periodicals for a NATUROPATHIC doctor who uses
HOMEOPATHY. Thats the only suggestion I can make, because PREDNISONE is an odd,
strong, UNIQUE, effective, sometimes problematic medication (bad side effects).
Many people do not believe in Homopathic Remedies, but in your case you have
not much to lose. <<IMPORTANT>> Follow doctors orders and stay on prednisone
until you find a Homopathic doctor, then tell your doctor you would like to try
it, and he will wean you off of prednisone on a CERTAIN schedule, slowly ( That
is after he spends 30 minutes telling you Homopathy is worthless. ) But it's worth a try, it won't kill you, and you can always go back to prednisone!!
There really isn't anything that comes to mind to equal prednisone.
