Is there any special way to remove the plug from the rear of the headlamp on a Hyundai Excel?

[Edit]

Answer

Thanksgiving day 1:44 IL-Time; Ok if you mean the collar that holds the headlight bulb in the headlight twist and turn it and it will come off the back of the headlight after you unplug it first. If the collar is still attached to the burned out bulb after its out of the car, on the OLD Bulb take a small knife and pull or cut the OLD RED rubber ring(or what ever color it is) than you can push or pull the bulb thru the collar. To install the New light bulb, seat the new light bulb into the headlamp(don't touch the new bulb with your hands as it will weaken it) and than twist the collar into place and plug in the wires. When I Changed my lights on my 1994 Hyundai Excel 2dr Hatchback the lightbulb and collar come off as one piece. I could'nt push or pull the old bulb through Until I cut the O-ring first, BUT DON'T CUT the new O-ring on the new bulb.
