There is not one shred of evidence that she did what was claimed in the chain letter. There is no evidence that a dead person could in any way haunt or kill a living person. In fact there is no proof anyone by the name of Ashley Halagey ever existed for real.
Chain letters rarely have any truth to them, nor is there any proof that the bad things they claim will happen to you will actually happen. And also, I have just read the JACK Hagaley story and from what I've read they are the same exact situations. I'm not saying this is fictional or it's actually true but I mean if it's the same situation and they're last name are the same and they are SUPPOSED to be just boyfriend and girlfriend then my guess is no. And, why do they have the same last name if they were only boyfried and girlfriend?
Um.... no
Legends are stories that actually have/had, though enverifieble, truth to them.
A legend is a type of folklore. It does not matter whether a legend is true or false, that is, it does not matter whether the events in the legend really happened. A legend is taken by the common people as historical and so is believed and retold over and over, but it is not verifiable.

If you mean the word legend to mean epic or long story, then the antonym is short story. If legend means fable or fiction, the antonym is truth or nonfiction.
