This mainly depends on what phone you own. You may want to do some research into what your phone supports, as most early android phones don't support many updates at all.

Is there an update for the Android Gingerbread uqld4 operating system?

It varies from phone to phone. Some are upgradable all the way to Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2 OS), while other phones are past their upgrade cycle and won't be getting any upgrades beyond Gingerbread. In your phone's settings, you can check to see if there's an upgrade available. Or, you can check with your carrier or the phone manufacturer if it's due for an update. Incidentally, "uqld4" is a build for your particular phone.

Is there a way that you can download Android apps from system and save it in the system itself and afterwards you can move?

Assuming you have a newer version of Android OS on your current phone, when you upgrade to a newer phone, all the apps you had previously downloaded will transfer to that new phone. You can also download apps that can backup the data that is in an app (saving it to your external SD), and after retrieving the apps into your new phone, you can restore the data that was backed up. If your phone is rooted, you can use backup apps which can mass backup all the data that you have.

More information is needed to answer this question properly. Questions such as: what kind of phone? Was the phone purchased through a carrier? Was it modified in any way? How much storage (internal) is left on the phone? Do you have several apps running in the background?

Would it be possible for you to upgrade your phone even if you had just gotten your phone last July and it was a two year contract?

Some phone companies allow you to do an upgrade half way through your contract. There is only a selected amount of time to do so though. Call your provider and ask, the worst they'll do is say no. :) You can upgrade your phone at any time, but, if it's sooner than your contract allows, you'll have to pay full price for the phone or extend your contract another two years.

Can you use phone credit to buy android apps?

Yes that is the default way of buying apps on Android Market. If you are on contract it will be charged at the end of the month

How do you send music from an Android phone to another Android phone via sms?

You'll likely have to send it via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), and attach the music file in question. If the recipient is near you, you can also send it to them via Android Beam, or NFC (when your phone touches their phone, if their phone has the same capabilities).
