Your homeowners insurance (Property Hazard Insurance) is specific to the named insured's property. There is no coverage for the property of another.

It wouldn't be in your best interest to file a claim for just a few dollars because you risk cancellation. If your hearing aid is worth $600 and your deductible is $500, they you may just want to pay the extra $100 out of your own pocket.
