There are beliefs that there is life after death... But well... you can't really talk to someone who knows right? I find it a little more comforting to think that you'll go somewhere nice when you die or even start a NEW life.
Nothing definite can exist forever. At some point in time, it'll change beyond recognition compared to a former state.
Everything abstract is infinite in amount (somewhere, including outside our universe) as well as time. That's one of the reasons why people like to consider themselves as representatives of some abstract ideas. It makes them immortal in a way, since these ideas have always existed and always will.
Not as a conscious individual being, but what you did and didn't do or say will continue to influence the world even after you die, though maybe not in a way you'd like.
Yes, life will continue after you die. Not YOUR life, of course.
some people believe in heaven (or paradice) or hell. others believe in reincarnation.

Many western cultures and religions propose an afterlife based on the very widely held assumption that we will keep the individual memories and personalities we possessed while on earth. If there is an afterlife, I don't believe it will include these self-centered concepts.

Well if we going to travel in space, and go from planet to planet, we never ended. if so.. we begin in something behind the univers, Why? if it ends then its do not exist.. and if it not exist, we not exist, and it has'NT exist all the time. But we are here, so there is no end.
If you think on that, then you get the prove that there exist eternity.
But is there life after death?? I can, but if so, its not that what the bible says. Why?? if its indeed so beautifull and als with knowledge and gold or what ever, what the hell do we here? The best way to find out what it can be life after death, is to find the target of our life. Why do we life here?
I think that we must learn, and know what is emotion and how costly is life.
Cause this life is unique. And so a otherthing.. animals has also brains, and can think, that that good as us.. but still, and beleave it or not, they have even as us.. a soul!!! So if theres a heaven or hell, the animal goes also to there like peoples. But there is no hell or heaven.. we create it self.
And if there is a life after death by comming as something else or someone, then its not life after death, but new life!! cause it ain't you.
No theres not a life after death, but there is something else..
If to find that we must know where we came from before this life.
That's the source and there we go to after this life. Is it nothing then its nothing.. is it a spirit life, then its a spirit life.. if it was heaven then we go to heaven ect.

Birth and death are just the changes those occur. But the reality is the living! So life never ends. The pity is that we have not realised the really living entity.
That is, we have not realized our own true self. When we realize it then we come to know that there is no end to the life but only it gets modified from one form to another. This would resemble the same as the law of conservation of energy.
