Computers Can't Even Think They Can Take Over The World
It is easy to develop some mathematical algorithm to compute the grammatical accuracy of a sentence or multiple sentences in a paragraph. However, there is no way a computer could possibly explain to a budding scribe the subtle nuances of style. Developing one's style is a subjective art: the writer who wants to write well must think beyond the words on the page, and deliberately choose each word to best communicate their meaning. A computer is a great tool for analyzing, classifying, and organizing information, but it will never be able to selectively break the rules to create a mood or cause an effect.
