Is there something special you need to do after changing front brake pads on a 2004 Mazda 6-such as a reset button?

[Edit]

in the process of changing your breaks, you might have bent the splash guard a little bit so that might be rubbing on the rotor. also the clips that the pads sit in love to break, and cause a scaping noise. they sit in the bracket and a peice of metal folds over the bracket. you can look through the wheel and if you notice this missing. then thats your problem. they usually don't all snap at once, so compare sides.
