Is there such a thing as unrequited love?

In: Dating

Answer

Yes, unfortunately there is such a thing as unrequited love. When an emotionally mature individual knows the difference between love and lust, this is an individual feeling and experience, but when the feeling "of love" is mutual, that is different. One person can love and be in love with another person who is not on the "same page" and does not have those same feelings. Unrequited love can be painful for a person, but if that person can let go (of all communication) and let time pass, the heart DOES heal.
