Yes, but they are not an AKC standard. AKC only recongizes Miniatures which is under 11 lbs and standard which is 16 lbs and over. Dachshunds make amazing pets. I have 2 myself and they're wonderful obedient VERY easy to train and loyal companions. My mother in law and sister in law have dachshunds as well. In fact they got me started realizing how amazing they are. They're enegetic, courageous personalities. They always bark if someone is at the door which may be annoying to some but makes me feel safe that i know someone is coming. I completely recommend a dachsund as a pet if you're looking for one.
Yes, a yorkie teacup really does exist. the yorkshiere terriers (yorkie) are kinda the big ones but the yorkie teacup are the really small ones that are smaller than or same size as your hand and can weight from 2-4 pounds.
"No. There is a dog breed called the"Teacup Poodle" and the other is called the "Westie", but there is no such thing as a "Teacup Poodle"." You must have gotten your words mixed up, there... you just said there was a teacup poodle and then turned around and said there wasn't. I assume you meant yes there are teacup poodles and there are westies but no there are no teacup westies. you all are wrong there is no such thing as teacup anything the term teacup is used when they take the sickly runts and breed them to make more sicckly runts. enjoy your teacup puppy i mean your sickly runts
No, there is no such thing as any breed to be tea cup, each breed has a breed standard set out by the American Kennel Club or Canadian Kennel club, the standard for the Havanese is:
Size, Proportion, and Substance
The ideal height is between 9 and 10 1/2 inches, with an acceptable height range from 8 1/2 to 11 1/2 inches. Height at withers under 8 1/2 inches or over 11 1/2 inches is a disqualification, except that the minimumheight shall not apply to dogs or bitches under twelve months of age.
The height is slightly less than the length from the point of shoulder to point of buttocks, creating a rectangular outline. The Havanese is moderately boned and should never appear coarse or fragile.

No, yorkies are only given the name 'teacup' because they are the smallest in the litter and no responsible breeder would give the name 'teacup' to there smallest dogs. Don't support back yard breeders they sell them for big amounts of money and they are usually more prone to health problems than the regular (already small) Yorkie
Yes, actually.
(there is a related link below)
There must be, because my female shih tzu only weighs 5 pounds at 19 months and she is full bred from a breeder.
There's no such thing as a "teacup" of any dog.
Yes, there is a minature Shih-Tzu.
Going any smaller than a westie and you get those "teacup" dogs, which usually aren't really in good health. Westies are plenty small by themselves.
There's no such thing as a teacup dog.
Nope! :)
Yes there is, teacup Chihuahuas are actually quite popular because of their small size.
The expression, "a storm in a teacup" refers to a contentious situation that, put into perspective, is really small thing. Typical of these sorts of things, it has a hidden comparison to a storm at sea, which is a large thing indeed. An alternative would be a "tempest in a teacup."
a westie and a westie. They are a pedigree breed and so they dont have any other relations.
Presty and testy are words that rhyme with Westie.
There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie poo or any type of teacup puppy/dog. These are just unhealthy dogs that pet stores and breeders who do not care about their dogs sell for a lot of money because they are small and sickly
You feed a westie by giving him dog food two or three times a day. If the westie is a puppy you give puppy food. If your westie is not eating the food she/he might be picky and you can talk to his vet to see.
Yes, but are very rare. There are also toys, and miniatures.
Caucasian Ovacharkas weigh 90 to 200 pounds.
Considering other names for dogs, Westie is perfectly legitimate.
