Is this a good video card. visiontek 900182 radeon hd 2600pro 512mb 128-bit gddr2 agp 8x hdcp?

Answer:

Well, like all video cards, they are all bound to be replaced by newer and better ones. I recently bought a Visiontek Raedon HD 2600Pro 512MB, and I have to say that it's a great upgrade if you previously had an older, out-dated video card. However, like most AGP video cards, ATI doesn't provide much support to AGP users when it comes to updating drivers.
In the world we live in, there will always be different opinions, which i like to refer as 'black' and 'white', in other words, people who agree and people who don't agree. In my opinion, it's a fantastic upgrade from my previous Raedon x1300 card. It all boils down to your experience, go buy it at Best Buys, or Circuit City and try it for yourself to see whether it or not it's a good card, otherwise, you can always return it within 30 days.
