While I was not able to find their accredation through the DETC website I have called them and they were able to confirm that they are accredited. I am currently taking a course from USCI and have found it to be very thorough. I have had no complaints, although I have found many of them by googling US Career Institute.== Answer ==

No, I have fully checked them out.

I am going to start the medical assisting program with them, if you are interested in MA, know the following:

They are approved by DTEC and also have affiliations with NHA which gives the exam for CCMA (certified clinical medical assistant) and also NCCT who offers a certifiying test for the (NCMA) National Certified Medical Assistant. BEAWARE that you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SITE FOR THE CMA THROUGH AAMA AFTER THIS COURSE. I am not concerned with that since the other 2 are nationally recognized.

I have been a dental assistant for 14 years and knew what to check out, but I feel sorry for people that pay 10k or more for their MA training. and with a school that they can not get any national certification.
