Other contributors have said "Does drinking vinegar right after sex prevent pregnancy?" is the same question as "Is vinegar good birth control?"

Is vinegar good birth control?

Answer:
No. I called an OBGYN office just to verify this. They said this is an old wives tail and is NOT effective birth control. Drinking it is completely ineffective. Douching with it can actually push the semen up further, thus increasing the chances of pregnancy. They said it is better just to stick with the traditional methods such as condoms. Condoms also have the added benefit of preventing many STD's.
