Answer
My guinea pig only makes noises when it is hungry or scared.
Answer
ok i have research this and guinea pigs have differnt sounds when their happy and when their anoyyed or angry. when your piggy is making short chirpy squeks and what you may reconise "piggy noises) oink oink oink it means their happy :) When it make the noise like a motor sorta for long or short peiods of time like gergergegrgergergerger like a motor it means their either angry or want to go back in their cage. From experiance my piggy makes that noise when i pet near his behind some piggys like it mine doesnt. When a piggy makes the long squeky noise like a cry it means their either scared, looking for the buddy (cagemate) or just got starteled. So thats the most important noises the piggy makes so try to always have a happy piggy! :)
Answer
If your guinea pigs are making a purring sound like a cat then they are fine. That means they are content and happy.
