No. [1] The avocado [Persea americana] is a flowering tree in the Lauraceae family. Fruit refers to the ripened ovaries of flowers. And the fruit of the avocado tree is the berry. Within the berry is a pit that protects the seeds inside. [2] Not all seeds are nuts. The only that are just have 1-2 seeds within a hardened stony or woody ovary. The seeds are separate from, and loose within, the ovary. [3] And all true nuts are members of just two families. One's the Betulaceae family of alder, birch, hazel, and hornbeam. The other's the Fagaceae family of beech, chestnut, oak, stone-oak, and tanoak.
Technically it's not. It's a berry. Wikipedia has more information, and a link is provided.
no just to be safe don't
no it is a seed
Avocado is a fruit, more specifically a berry- see below link http://ucavo.ucr.edu/AvocadoWebSite%20folder/AvocadoWebSite/General/FruitBerry.html
If you mean acorn then no it's a nut that when planted becomes a tree :)
It is possible to roast an avocado seed but I would not recommend it. You can slice the nut up and place it in the oven on low heat for 5-10 minutes but even then the bitterness of the nut does not go away and keeping the nuts in the oven for any longer than 10-15 will unfortunately result in burnt nuts.
avocado is not popular in India. It is called avocado Only.
